Launched in 2009 as the very first 'Food Truck' in South Gujarat. The idea was inspired by Europe and the concept was new at that time. Mr. Snehal Modi, Mr. Sunil Dubey and Mr. Nilay Modi show the opportunity which was missed by many Gujarati businessmen. The primary goal to start a food truck was to learn about the various activities involved in running a food business as both the founders were new to the industry. A year later, in 2010, the first outlet was started in Surat for the student crowd. In 2015, they moved to Food Court. It was again one of the first food courts in Surat city. Currently, 'The Park' Food Court has multiple Café & Restaurants and it was all started with Grenee. People in Surat started loving Grenee Special Chai & Idli. Green Leaf-Pudina tea was first ever in Surat. Also, Greene's Idli was famous for its softness and ease of digestion. Surties started demanding more branches/outlets as they have to travel far to visit Grenee and BOOM!! The Franchise idea popped in. Both the founders started working on Franchise Business Model, Kitchen Setup, and Supply Chain Management. They were not in a rush to expand and that's the most important thing behind the success of Grenee. After building the fundamental base, the first franchise was sold at Pal, Adajan. Post that, 10 Franchise were sold in Surat itself in the last 3 years.
